Unlike man, animals usually must live in a specific climate or they will die, and have very specific times when they are active, particular times when they breed, food they eat, and so on. For real earth animals, you would research this material for anything you might need for a novel. But SFF writers often make up their own creatures, and this profile is designed to help them with their creature creation.
